Hace unos días, un amigo me enseñó un video sobre unos niños jugando futbol en Sudáfrica. Lo interesante de ese video eran los créditos: la música era de Nortec Panóptica Orchestra, la dirección corrió a cargo de Alejandro González Iñárritu (sí, el director de Amores Perros, 21 Gramos, Babel y próximamente, Beautiful) y la fotografía de Emanuel “El Chivo” Lubezki (fotógrafo mexicano nominado al Oscar). El video es muy bueno, claramente es un video publicitario, lo que yo no sabía era qué publicitaba.
Hace un par de días, llegó un mail a la redacción de Panamérika con el press kit de dicho video, a continuación un resumen con toda la información:
La compañía de teléfonos Orange escogió el tema “Pico Selector” del disco debut de Nortec Panóptica Orchestra (que por cierto, saldrá en el mes de marzo con el sello independiente LOV/RECS en 2 formatos: vinil y descarga electrónica) para musicalizar su nueva campaña publicitaria, titulada “Airball 60″, la cual, dicho sea de paso, está totalmente ligada al futbol y a la Copa del Mundo que se llevará a cabo a mediados de este año en Sudáfrica. El video en cuestión es un anuncio para televisión.
